Dr. Rodrigo Prestes Machado

Rodrigo Prestes Machado holds a degree in Computer Science from the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel – 2001), a master’s degree in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio – 2005), and a doctorate in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS – 2019). Since 2010, he has been a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Porto Alegre. His main areas of interest include system development and informatics in education, specifically the use of digital technologies for creating collaborative learning environments. He is currently on a Sabbatical at UC3M.
