Dr. Miguel Ángel Hombrados Herrera

Dr. Miguel Angel Hombrados Herrera is a visiting professor at the Department of Telematics Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He received an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He was granted the Principe de Asturias – Iberdrola Scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico (USA). In 2019,
he worked as a graduate research assistant at the theoretical division of Los Alamos National Labs. His areas of interest include machine learning, deep learning, and power systems, among others.
