Dr. Carlos Alario Hoyos

Dr. Carlos Alario-Hoyos is Associate Professor at the Department of Telematics Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He received M.S. and PhD degrees in Information and Communication Technologies from Universidad de Valladolid, Spain, in 2007 to 2012 respectively. He was Deputy Vice President for Strategy and Digital Education at UC3M between 2017 and 2023. His main research interests include AI in education, MOOCs, interoperability and software educational tools.
